In 2006, with assistance of the Embassy of Israel in Vietnam, Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA) and the AgroStudies, Granot, Israel concluded in a Memorandum of Understanding on sending students of HUA to participate in internship period in Israel. Over the past two years, HUA has sent 16 students to the program and until now 8 students already back to study at university.

Kangwon National University (KNU) is one of the leading universities in Korea, well-known for quality of training, research in many areas like agriculture science, veterinary medicine etc. During the past years, Hanoi University of Agriculture (HUA) and KNU colleges and schools have developed cooperation in various areas. HUA has also sent some lecturers to KNU for visiting and long term study.

The program of sub-regional economic cooperation among the six countries of the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) was set up in 1992 to bring about economic prosperity to the region. Academic and research collaboration among educational institutions in GMS countries plays an important part in promoting mutual and sustainable development in the region. “The First International Conference on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development of the Greater Mekong Sub-region” which was organized by Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, Thailand, in August 2006, had been a great success. 

Yamagata University is one of the leading universities in Japan, wellknown for training scale and quality in such areas like engineering, applied sciences, agriculture, etc.

Chiang Mai University, Thailand and Hanoi University of Agriculture have a long lasting relationship in terms of training and research. In 2006, the CMU Education and Research Coordination Center was set up at HUA with an aim to push up the partnership relation.
